Monte de Pasto is the largest beef cattle producer and feedlot operator in Portugal. We are located in a large farming land in Southern Portugal, where natural conditions are optimal for open air livestock production. We have a large scale operation and we are capable of providing beef cattle all year long. Our cattle (mainly crossbred Limousine and Charolais) is known for having high quality genetics, with high carcass yields and good-quality meat. We benefit from an extensive know-how and a strong expertise, that secure an effective and homogeneous high quality production. We carry out tight quality and sanitary controls to secure that the cattle we sell is in very good conditions, And because we are a large scale operation, we are able to produce to specifications with high levels of service. Also, we are close to a deep water port on the Atlantic Portuguese Coast(Sines) that allows us to export worldwide.
